Delete your Estate Ops account
You can ask to delete your Estate Ops account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how, and what happens.
Delete from within the app (fastest)
- Open the Estate Ops app and sign in.
- Go to Me → Account → Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and your personal data is
deleted or anonymised as described below.
{{IF the in-app self-service delete is not yet released, state: "This option is rolling out. Until then, please use the request-by-email method below."}}
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, email {{PRIVACY_EMAIL}} from the email address on your account, or with enough detail for us to identify it, and ask us to delete your account. We may need to verify your identity. We respond within 30 days.
If your account belongs to an Estate
Estate Ops is provided to estates and organisations. If your account was created by an Estate (your employer or the organisation that invited you), that Estate controls the operational records you contributed. We will delete your account and personal profile, but some records you created may be retained by the Estate as the controller, or anonymised, in line with the Estate's own retention obligations. We will pass your request to the relevant Estate where appropriate.
What is deleted
- Your login and authentication details.
- Your personal profile (name, contact details, role and device tokens).
- Personal data we hold as controller that is no longer needed.
What may be retained
- Information we must keep by law, for a limited period.
- Safety and audit records, and operational records owned by your Estate, retained
or anonymised under the Estate's retention policy.
- Backups, until they are overwritten in the ordinary backup cycle.
