Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: {{EFFECTIVE_DATE}}
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to every Customer and User of the Estate Ops Service. It exists to keep the Service safe, lawful and reliable for everyone.
You must not
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to store or share unlawful content.
- Put personal data into the Service without a lawful basis, or use the location,
lone-worker or safety features to monitor people covertly or without informing them as the law requires.
- Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, abusive, or that infringes
intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Misuse the SOS or alerting features (for example raising false alarms), or rely on
them as a substitute for the emergency services.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other customers' data, or our
systems; probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission.
- Introduce malware, or interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of
the Service.
- Reverse engineer, copy, resell or sublicense the Service except as allowed by law.
- Use automated means to extract data at a scale that burdens the Service, or
exceed any rate or usage limits.
- Share login credentials, or let unauthorised people use your account.
Your responsibilities
- Keep accounts and devices secure and report suspected misuse or security issues
to {{SECURITY_EMAIL}} promptly.
- Make sure your Users understand and follow this AUP.
- Maintain your own health-and-safety and lone-worker procedures; the Service is an
aid, not a replacement (see clause 9 of the Terms).
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected breaches and may suspend or remove content or access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, other customers, or to comply with law. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to termination under the Terms.
